This year's juror, Gordon W. Gilkey received the first M.F.A. in Fine Arts in Printmaking ever awarded by the University of Oregon in 1936. He then studied at the Art Students League of New York in 1937 and at the University of Chicago, Workshop in General Education in 1941. Gordon Gilkey was awarded the Arts Doctorate (Honoris Causa) by Lewis and Clark College in 1957. Gordon Gilkey has exhibitied his work in more than sixty one-person and group exhibitions in the United States and abroad.
